disciplinary hearings

The CWU National leadership is very much concern about the outcome of the disciplinary hearing emanated from the peaceful industrial action. CWU find it very strange that Vodacom prosecution (and dismissals)is based on the highly edited video tapes developed by their Security company.CWU will continue to defend its members, and we also urge all CWU members at Vodacom to report all forms of treats and abuse by the intransigent and myopic management to the office of the General Secretary.

We will ensure that their rights to a fair trial (and appeal)is enforced by the Commission for the Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration.

The outcome of these appeal will be communicated to all members and the outside world.
