2. AUBREY TSHABALALA, VODACOM LEADER, THREATENED

The afternoon of March 10, CWU Vodacom Leader Aubrey Tshabalala received over 70 text messages (SMS), literally reading:

“Fokken kaffir pak brah”

When the owner of the line was called, the owner mentioned that he had sent his phone to Vodacom for servicing.

“I am not disturbed by the messages that have been sent,” says Comrade Aubrey, “I am more adamant that our mass action will be a success.”

3. UNI WEBPAGE FOR ALLIES TO WRITE TO VODACOM

Our Global Union, UNI (Union Network International) has set up a “click n go” message online for all affiliates and their members to support the protest. The messages go to the Vodacom Management with a copy to the union. Allies should click here to send a message to Vodacom!

4. "CONSUMER STRIKE" ON MONDAY

We are asking our comrades from the labour movement, friends, families and members of the general public who support justice to switch off their Vodafone telephones between 13h00 and 13h10. Remind everyone you know.

AN INJURY TO ONE IS AN INJURY TO ALL
